Have you ever heard the term "peaches n' cream skin" but not known what it referred to?

The term is actually derived from an old beauty remedy which involved mashing peaches and- you guessed it- cream into a paste for a beautifying face mask. To this day, many women swear by this simple concoction for its brightening and tightening capabilities, so give it a try the next time you find yourself looking for a facial pick-me-up. When it comes to complexion, peaches n’ cream skin refers to someone who has a warm (yellow) base to their skin with glowing rosy cheeks.

Jillian Rose Reid hairstylesJillian Rose Reed is a perfect example of someone with peaches n’ cream skin. Her skin is fair, but she has a healthy glow that stems from her warm undertones. To highlight her peaches n’ cream complexion, Jillian uses warm shades on her eyes, lips and cheeks. This skin tone looks great in “fruity” shades like peach, apricot and watermelon pink. Jillian has chosen apricot and peach shades to match her orange-red hair, but blonde, cool brunettes and raven-haired ladies will look gorgeous in pink and copper shades as well.
