Description

(Added: 18th April 2016 )
Soft waves are added to the sides and back of this style to give this look movement and subtle shape. This casual 'do is easy to re-create with the right tools and needs product to tame fly-away hair. Regular trims will also help maintain a healthy look and feel by preventing split ends.

Rose Byrne is known for her dainty features and strong bone structure, which is nicely highlighted by her soft wavy tresses here. Having an inverted oblong face shape, Rose has a wide, broad forehead to contend with as well as a more vertical shape to her face. Voluminous hairstyles that have lots of body and volume around the jaw and neck area are ideal for her as they balance out her face shape the best. This simple wavy bob does just that for Rose, while the blunt ends give her fine hair a thicker appearance. She would look great in bangs as it would give her broad forehead some camouflage, however the center part is working well for her too.

Rose has an olive skin tone, dark eyes and dark natural hair. This coloring is best paired with brunette locks, but it is also possible for ladies with this complexion and eye color to wear golden and caramel shades too. Here, Rose goes for a warm chestnut brown that has a natural looking finish. This color brightens up her complexion and gives her an all over warm glow, thanks to the golden highlights at the tips.

Rose Byrne is an Australian actress. Byrne made her screen debut in 1992 with a small role in the film Dallas Doll and has gone on to feature in hits such as Bridesmaids.

Styling Steps

Mousse
1 . Apply Mousse

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

Partmiddle
2 . Part the Middle

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

Paddlebrush
3 . Use a Paddle Brush

A paddle brush is used for detangling the hair and can be used to smooth out straight hair when blow-drying or styling. It is a must have for every household.

4 . Blow-dry Using a Paddle Brush

Working in sections starting from the back, place the paddle brush close to the roots and drag it through the strands slowly, taking care not to overheat your hair. Once dry, continue to a new section, completing the back, the sides and then the top section last of all.

Horizontalbackroller
5 . Apply Hot Rollers Vertically in the Back

Take a section of hair from the nape no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller vertically down the hair shaft to the roots and secure it with a pin or clip. Continue this step until the entire back section of your hair is completed. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

Verticalsideroller
6 . Apply Hot Rollers Vertically to the Side

Take a section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller vertically, making sure to roll it backwards, along the hair shaft to the roots and secure it with a pin or clip. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

Sidesout
7 . Style Sides Out Using Moulding Cream

To get your sides to sit out, apply a small amount of moulding cream to your fingertips and then working mainly on the ends, pinch them while dragging the hair in an out and upwards motion. The more moulding cream and the more pinching that you apply, the more textured and pasty the result.
