Description

(Added: 15th November 2015 )
These long locks are are blow-waved beautifully to smooth down the top while adding movement to the mid-lengths to ends for a soft look and feel. This hairdo is easy to re-create at home with the right tools and needs a little product to tame fly-away hair.

Mia Barron looks elegant here in softly curled brunette locks. This hairstyle is ideal for Mia’s oval face shape and high rounded hairline. Mia has strong cheekbones and a square jawline, which is softened up nicely by her long layers and voluminous curls at the ends. Although she would suit bangs nicely, Mia looks great in a long side-swept fringe that cascades around the face and blends in with the rest of her hair. A longer fringe is also more suitable for her thick hair type, which is easier to manage with longer fringe styles.

With her olive complexion and green eyes, Mia is nicely suited to brunette tresses. This particular shade of chocolate brown she is wearing has a red base which is visible at the ends. This tone gives her a warm glow all over and highlights her green eyes.

Mia Barron is an American actress who has appeared in movies such as I Smile Back and Righteous Kill.

Styling Steps

Mousse
1 . Apply Mousse
Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.
Partleft
2 . Part to the Left
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
Brushlarge
3 . Use a Large Radial Brush
A large radial brush is usually used on long straight hair types or to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.
Backunder
4 . Blow-dry the Back Under
To blow-dry under, start at the nape/back and place your brush under the section of hair close to the nape. With the dryer held up over the hair, pull the brush from the roots and continue to the mid length's, keeping the blow-dryer following over the top. Once you reach the ends, curve them under. Repeat this step until the section is completely dry.

5 . Blow-dry Left Side Back
Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush on top of the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in a backward direction with your blow-dryer following in front. Be sure the section is dry and then repeat the step on a new section of hair directly behind.

6 . Blow-dry Right Side Back
Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush on top of the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in a backward direction with your blow-dryer following in front. Be sure the section is dry and then repeat the step on a new section of hair directly behind.

7 . Apply Smoothing Shine
Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

8 . Apply Hairspray
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
