Alternative Short Curly Hairstyles

Alternative short curly hairstyles are ones that really stand apart from fashionable, conventional and classic hairstyles. They are best described as unusual, daring, bright, fun, avante-garde, and exaggerated- with elements of punk.

Often anything goes with an alternative hairstyle: the crazier the better. Short curly looks include layered looks, short tight corkscrew spirals and uneven "anything goes" shapes. You will usually find these looks in two or more colors (from very dark to light) as this makes the hairstyle stand out.

If you want to feel free of fashion, then go for it. Or, if you want to bolster your marketing campaign, then an alternative hairstyle may be a good choice. But beware because once your hair is cut short then it will take some time for it to grow back or to change back to its natural state- particularly wild colors that may damage your hair when stripped out or re-colored.
