Alex Meneses Medium Straight Brunette Hairstyle

Added: 20 Dec 2015
These highlighted tresses are blow-waved beautifully to smooth down the top while adding movement to the mid-lengths to ends for a soft and simple look and feel. This is a great hairdo for any occasion and needs a small amount of product to tame fly-away hair.

Alex Meneses looks chic and elegant here in a voluminous bob hairstyle that is ideal for her hair type and face shape. Alex’s thick hair has been styled with oodles of volume at the crown and large curls at the ends. This gives her uniform length cut movement and body, and helps to lighten up her locks so her thick tresses don’t weigh her style down. Alex has a high forehead and rounded face shape, which looks perfect with a center part and grown out bangs. Her strong cheekbones are highlighted and her eyes become the center of attention.

Color-wise, Alex looks best in warm brunette and blonde hair colors, thanks to her tanned skin and vibrant brown eye color. Here, she is wearing a rich golden brown base with warm caramel highlights throughout. This gives her a sun-kissed finish that brightens up her complexion and makes her eyes stand out even more.

Alex Meneses is an American television and film actress and model.

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

step 2

A medium radial brush is used on medium to long hair types to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures or to add body to straight hair. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

step 3

Starting at the nape/back of the hair, place your brush on top of the section and blow-dryer down starting from the roots and using tension as you go. Next, place the blow-dryer underneath the hair and continue to blow-dry the ends out. Make sure to follow the brush with the blow-dryer in an outwards direction. If you like fuller flicks, hold the ends out and roll them up into the brush and apply the heat for longer.

step 4

Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush on top of the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in a backward direction with your blow-dryer following in front. Be sure the section is dry and then repeat the step on a new section of hair directly behind.

step 5

Take a section of your hair from your ear to your temple that is the same diameter as the brush. Place your brush on top of the hair starting at the roots and pull the hair slowly in a backward direction with your blow-dryer following in front. Be sure the section is dry and then repeat the step on a new section of hair directly behind.

step 6

Apply a small amount of wax to your fingertips and then lightly piece and pinch the ends of your hair.

step 7

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

step 8

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
