Carmen Electra Long Straight Light Blonde and Blue Two-Tone Hairstyle

Added: 03 Dec 2017
Smooth and chic is the main idea for this hairstyle. These color-dippd locks are blow-dried straight to achieve a sexy yet simple look and feel. The layers in the front are smoothed down to frame the face and completes the overall look magnificently.

Carmen Electra is rocking her long locks here in a sleek straight ‘do that compliments her oval face shape nicely. The sharp side part breaks up excess squareness in her face and the layers around the ends help to break up any heaviness and add movement. Carmen's tresses look their best in longer ‘dos like the ones seen here, and when worn straight, have an ultra healthy and glossy finish. This is a good, basic hairstyle to have when showing off an eye-catching color job too!

Speaking of color, Carmen’s hair is looking fabulous here and works well with her tanned complexion and blue eyes. Having a medium complexion with warm golden undertones, she looks best in blonde hair that highlights her eyes and matches her skin tone. Here she has jazzed up her platinum blonde base with a shock of turquoise blue at the tips that gives her a cool, trendy finish!

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 2

A paddle brush is used for detangling the hair and can be used to smooth out straight hair when blow-drying or styling. It is a must have for every household.

step 3

Working in sections starting from the back, place the paddle brush close to the roots and drag it through the strands slowly, taking care not to overheat your hair. Once dry, continue to a new section, completing the back, the sides and then the top section last of all.

step 4

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. step 5

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

step 6

Take your section of hair and pull it tightly across to the opposite side and pin it securely into place.

step 7

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
