If you are searching for some awesome up-do ideas then we have just the thing for you. Remember to give these hairstyles a try before your big event though to make sure you get it just right. Now without further ado, here are some great up-dos.

Reese Witherspoon Formal Updo Hairstyle.

Here, Reese Witherspoon looks absolutely gorgeous in a simple yet elegant low chignon. Her highlighted blonde locks have been swept back into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck. From there, the ends have been looped and pinned to one side, and then the loop has been fanned out and pinned into place. This is a great option for women who prefer demure looks and who don’t have that much length in their hair to play with. Reese’s side-swept fringe blends seamlessly with this hairstyle too. If you have a grown out fringe, you can create the same look by using a very deep side part and sweeping the hair across the forehead.

Maia Mitchell Formal Updo Hairstyle.

Maia Mitchell looks oh so elegant here in this beautiful high bun style up-do. This is a good option for women who want to show off an amazing pair of earrings or a necklace, and prefer to have all heir hair swept up. Maia got this look by first side parting her hair and then sweeping the hair up into a high ponytail. Then, she took sections of her ponytail and wrapped it around a bun donut for volume, twisting and then pinning the sections to the crown to hold in place.

Coco Rocha Short Wavy Hairstyle.

For all of the ladies out there who have short hair and can’t pull off an up-do this party season, check out Coco Rocha’s glamorous wavy short hairstyle here. This is the perfect way to jazz up your hair for the party season without having to resort to extensions or wearing your ‘everyday’ ‘do. To get this look, first create a deep side part and then simply roll your hair in medium hot rollers. Make sure to roll the front section away from your face for that cool vintage flip. Once the waves have been set, unroll them carefully and mould them into place using your fingers. Use a strong hold hairspray to keep these curls in place all night.

Kelly Osbourne Alternative Wavy Updo Emo Hairstyle.

And finally, we have something a little crazy from Kelly Osbourne. This up-do is on the extreme side but still a great option for the holiday season. Keep in mind Kelly’s hair has been shaved on the sides but this hairstyle can work just as well if you have a full head of hair too. To get this look, sweep all of your hair up to the crown of the head and secure it into a ponytail. Then start to braid your hair. (If your hair isn’t super long, then you can braid in a hairpiece for extra length and bulk.) Once your braid is finished, secure it to the head with pins while laying it in a circular motion, forming a crown. Spray it in place to finish, and feel free to add some metal spikes for an edgy touch like Kelly!
