Neat and tidy was the main aim for this wavy 'do. The sides and back are cut short for a close finish to the head, while the top is jagged cut to create height. This is best suited for those with naturally wavy hair.

Styling Steps

1 . Apply Gel Spray

Evenly mist gel spray around the top and sides to create a soft hold style. Gel spray will hold well and will not look wet or weigh the hair down.

2 . Finger Dry the Back with Blow-dryer

Use your blow-dryer and your fingers to dry the back of your hair by moving your hair around to allow the heat to pass through it.

3 . Style Hair Down at the Back Using Gel-wax

Apply some gel-wax to your fingertips then pull through the ends of your hair in a downward motion to achieve a semi-wet, textured result.

4 . Style Sides Behind Ear Using Gel-wax

Apply a small amount of gel-wax to your fingertips, then place it at the roots above your ear and drag it through as you pull your hair behind your ear. This will create a fresh, semi-wet result.

5 . Lift Roots Using Gel-wax

Apply some gel-wax to your fingertips and then rub it gently into your roots while lifting your strands. Using gel-wax in this manner will add shine and texture.

6 . Apply Hairspray

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
