Only a few months after announcing
their split, Destiny's Child has released #1's, a collection
of their biggest hits and a few new ones.
Highlights from the album include,
"Independent Women Part 1", "Survivor", "Lose
My Breath", "Say My Name" "Emotion", "Bootylicious"
and "Jumpin, Jumpin."
There are three new tracks to
pad out the album, including the 2005 World Children's Day Anthem, "Stand
Up For Love", "Feel The Same Way I do" and "Check
On It" which is a Beyonce only track from the upcoming Pink Panther
movie.
As with most cd's these days there is of
course a limited edition which also includes a host of videos from the group
and is a fun look back on the ever changing line up of the band members.
#1's is a must have item for
any Destiny's Child fan, even without the inclusion of "Nasty
Girl" and its hilarious video. This is a great collection of RnB
and party tracks and proves without a doubt why Destiny's Child became
the best selling female group of all time.
