From the filmmakers of Barbershop and Barbershop 2 comes
Beauty Shop, starring Queen Latifah.
Gina Norris (Latifah) moves to Atlanta and finds herself a job with
the famous flamboyant, Jorge (Kevin Bacon) and begins to make a name
for herself at his posh Southern salon with her cutting-edge hairstyles.
But having enough of being cast in Jorge's shadow, she leaves his salon
to open a shop of her own, taking along the unnoticed and very creative
shampoo girl (Alicia Silverstone) and a few clients (Andie MacDowell,
Mena Suvari).
After buying a rundown salon, Gina, along with a group of headb stylists
(including Alfre Woodard, Sherri Shepherd and Golden Brooks) begins
a business heavy on the laughs and full of fantastic looks.
