Charlize Theron Short Straight Hairstyle - Light Blonde (Champagne)
Description(Added: 8th March 2016 )
Charlize Theron looks sophisticated and glamorous here in this elegant ‘do. Her short, tapered bob has been styled with finesse to give her a stunning formal look that is ideal for a special event. Her hair has been smoothed back with a wave created in the side-parted bangs to create extra height. This hairstyle compliments Charlize’s oval face shape and high forehead, not to mention her fine locks are ideal for this kind of sleek look. Having a straight hair texture naturally makes this hairstyle a great choice for Charlize. The minimal styling time is a bonus too.
Charlize’s fair skin tone and blue eyes are the perfect match for the champagne blonde hair color seen here. The light beige tones highlight her blue eyes and match her cool skin tone nicely while the subtle highlights create a natural looking finish. Regular ash toner treatments are recommended with this type of blonde to keep brassy yellow tones at bay.
Charlize Theron is a South African and American actress, producer and fashion model. She has starred in several Hollywood films, such as The Devil's Advocate, Mighty Joe Young and The Cider House Rules.

1 . Apply Gel Spray
Evenly mist gel spray around the top and sides to create a soft hold style. Gel spray will hold well and will not look wet or weigh the hair down.
2 . Comb Hair
Comb your hair into the desired direction that you require for styling.
3 . Part to the Left
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
4 . Blow-dry Straight on the Sides
Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the sides. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends. Repeat this step on a new section directly above the dry one.
5 . Blow-dry the Back Under
To blow-dry under, start at the nape/back and place your brush under the section of hair close to the nape. With the dryer held up over the hair, pull the brush from the roots and continue to the mid length's, keeping the blow-dryer following over the top. Once you reach the ends, curve them under. Repeat this step until the section is completely dry.
6 . Blow-dry the Top Under to the Right
Take a section of your hair no wider than the diameter of your brush. Place your brush under and at the roots of your section. Then with your blow-dryer above, drag the brush up through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair following with your blow-dryer and pulling the hair to the right. Repeat until your hair is completely dry.
7 . Style Bangs Up and to the Right Using Gel
Apply a small amount of gel to your fingers, then starting at your roots, apply the gel as you drag your hair in an upwards, to the right, motion.
8 . Pin Hair
Once your hairstyle is complete, hold your hair into place and then pin your hair into your desired direction.
9 . Apply Smoothing Shine
Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.
10 . Apply Hairspray
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
