Hunter King Long Wavy Dark Blonde Hairstyle

Added: 04 Jul 2016
Loose waves are dressed through the lengths ends of these blonde locks to give the hairstyle movement and bounce. This casual 'do is easy to re-create at home with the right tools and needs a little product to tame fly-away hair. Regular trims are needed to prevent split ends.

Hunter King looks lovely here in a cool, casual wavy hairstyle. Having a triangular face shape and high, straight hairline, her face looks best in ‘dos with a grown out fringe and longer layers around the face. This simple layered 'do creates a nice frame for her face and allows her hair’s natural texture to do its thing, adding body and bounce all over. The layers in the front of this style softens up her jaw line area and gives her tresses some movement. This cut also highlights her cheekbones thanks to the center part that allows the front layers to drape nicely while the rest of the layers fall past her shoulders.

Hunter has a warm, fair complexion with golden undertones and green eyes. This makes her suited to hair colors that have a yellow or gold base to them, like the honey blonde tone seen here. This natural-looking shade is great for her complexion and it brings out the intensity of her eye color.

Hunter King is an American actress. She is known for portraying Adriana Masters on Hollywood Heights and Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless.

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 2

A paddle brush is used for detangling the hair and can be used to smooth out straight hair when blow-drying or styling. It is a must have for every household.

step 3

Working in sections starting from the back, place the paddle brush close to the roots and drag it through the strands slowly, taking care not to overheat your hair. Once dry, continue to a new section, completing the back, the sides and then the top section last of all.

step 4

A large hot roller is used to give your hair a larger curl and to add lots of body.

step 5

Take a section of hair no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller vertically, making sure to roll it backwards, along the hair shaft to the roots and secure it with a pin or clip. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

step 6

Apply gel-wax to your fingertips and then tilt your head forward and scrunch your hair.

step 7

Take a section of hair from the nape no wider than the diameter of the hot roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller vertically down the hair shaft to the roots and secure it with a pin or clip. Continue this step until the entire back section of your hair is completed. Keep the rollers in your hair until they cool.

step 8

Apply gel to your fingertips and then tilt your head forward and scrunch your hair.
