Lea Michele Long Straight Dark Blonde Hairstyle

Added: 27 Jun 2016
Smooth and glossy is the main idea for this hairstyle. These highlighted locks are blow-dried straight to achieve a sexy yet simple look and feel. The bangs are smoothed down to frame the face and completes the over-all look magnificently.

Lea Michele is rocking her thick locks here in a sleek straight ‘do that compliments her square face shape nicely. The sharp side part breaks up excess angles in her face and the layers around the ends help to break up any heaviness and add movement. Lea’s naturally thick tresses look their best in longer ‘dos like the ones seen here, and when worn straight, have an ultra healthy and glossy finish. This style is easy to achieve with minimal styling time and can be worn day or night—just dress it up or down with makeup and clothes as needed.

Lea’s color is also looking fabulous here and works well with her tanned complexion and dark eyes. Having a medium complexion with warm golden undertones, she looks best in black or brown hair that highlights her eyes and flatters her skin tone. Here she has jazzed up her natural brunette color with golden blonde highlights that gives her skin a sun-kissed glow.

Lea Michele is an American actress, singer, and author. She is known for her role as Rachel Berry on the Fox comedy-drama series Glee.

step 1

Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your right eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even right part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 3

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the nape/back. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends.

step 4

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the sides. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends. Repeat this step on a new section directly above the dry one.

step 5

To blow-dry your bangs to the side, clip the back and side sections up, leaving just your bangs out. Place your brush beneath your bangs, holding your hair to the side and remembering to hold the tension between your hair and brush. With your blow-dryer on a low setting, apply heat by starting at the roots and make sure to stretch your hair out to the ends. Repeat until your hair is dry.

step 6

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. step 7

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.
