Lysette Anthony Light Blonde Pixie Haircut with Layered Bangs

Added: 17 Jul 2017
The back and sides of this short sassy 'do is tapered into the head blending into the long top layers that are swept forward for shape and style. The front is swept to cover forehead to soften the face and completes the over-all look brilliantly. Product is needed to keep this style in place and regular trims is needed every 4-6 weeks.

Lysette Anthony is looking elegant here in a short, classic hairstyle. It is flattering to her features as the long fringe helps to balance the length of her face and the styling helps to keep a focus on her best features -her bright, expressive eyes and high cheekbones. Lysette has an oval face with a high, broad forehead which is flattered by the longer layered bangs, while her long neck is highlighted by the short length around the ears. This is a versatile cut that can also be worn slicked back for an edgy look.

Lysette is a natural blonde with bright blue eyes and a fair complexion. Here, she goes for a natural looking light honey blonde color all over. No highlights are needed here as this color shows off her cut nicely and harmonizes well with her eye color, skin tone and eyebrows. It also produces a glossy, healthy looking finish for her locks. Touch ups are needed every now and then to keep the color looking vibrant.

Lysette Chodzko, known professionally as Lysette Anthony, is an English actress and model. She is perhaps best known for her role in the Woody Allen film Husbands and Wives.

step 1

Hold the gel spray no closer than 3 inches from your hair and then evenly mist the gel spray into the roots to create a stronger hold style. Gel spray will hold well and will not look wet or weigh the hair down. Using your gel spray in this fashion will create added hold and a longer lasting style.

step 2

Use your blow-dryer and your fingers to dry the back of your hair by moving your hair around to allow the heat to pass through it.

step 3

To blow-dry the crown/top sections, take a section of hair no bigger than the diameter of the brush and blow-dry the hair placing the brush under the section of hair. With your blow-dryer in front of the brush, follow the brush in an upwards direction at the roots and an outwards position at the ends for volume and softness. Continue until the section is dry.

step 4

When blow-drying your bangs forward, clip your hair back leaving only your bangs out. Position your bangs evenly in your brush, taking the hair in a forward direction. Blow-dry from roots to ends, keeping the tension consistent, and evenly distribute heat over the whole section of hair that you are working on. Repeat until the hair is dry. This will stop any frizz that may occur.

step 5

Apply moulding cream to your sides using your fingertips and mess the hair in a circular motion, piecing the ends out as you go and as messy as you like. For a softer hold, use only a small amount of moulding cream.

step 6

Apply a small amount of moulding cream to your fingertips and then using your fingers, rake through your bangs to the ends for hold and texture.
