Short Sleek And Shiny Dark And Light Blonde Two-Tone Hairstyle

Added: 10 Jun 2023
Whether you are looking for a bold new look or trying to re-style your short hairstyle, this style is perfect. It's short with dark and light blonde hair, while also having a natural shine. The deep roots make this style work best with longer hair lengths as well. This is an update to a traditional hairstyle with a more contemporary feel.

Our model is wearing this short and straight, dark and light blonde two-tone hairstyle with her black cropped sleeves top. Her lips are coated in a copper shade of lipstick, and she has thick black eyebrows. She is looking gorgeous in this elegant hairstyle! This stunning short 'do has a combination of short to medium layers cut through the back to create body and lift through the crown which makes this hairstyle great for those who have round face shapes. It is suitable for women with medium to thick hair density and fine to medium hair texture. It is bold, classic, and flawlessly pulled back with a side part to add that extra oomph. This is a short-length straight hairstyle, but it's a little more textured than a traditional shag. The layers start out at the roots, then sweep back over the crown and down the neck toward the ears. It's all about texture, not the weight.

This elegant hairstyle is the perfect fit for any occasion. Whether it's for work or going out, it can be maintained by trimming between 4 to 6 weeks depending on your hair texture and condition. This 20 minute hairstyle is perfect for short to medium hair length. Use your fingers to direct your hair into place and allow your products to dry naturally. Use a smoothing shine, hair spray, and straightener product before starting this process.

step 1

Squeeze a small amount of straightening balm into your palms and then rub your hands together before smoothing the product evenly through damp hair.

step 2

A medium radial brush is used on medium to long hair types to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures or to add body to straight hair. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

step 3

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the nape/back. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends.

step 4

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the sides. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends. Repeat this step on a new section directly above the dry one.

step 5

To blow-dry the crown/top sections, take a section of hair no bigger than the diameter of the brush and blow-dry the hair placing the brush under the section of hair. With your blow-dryer in front of the brush, follow the brush in an upwards direction at the roots and an outwards position at the ends for volume and softness. Continue until the section is dry.

step 6

To blow-dry your bangs to the side, clip the back and side sections up, leaving just your bangs out. Place your brush beneath your bangs, holding your hair to the side and remembering to hold the tension between your hair and brush. With your blow-dryer on a low setting, apply heat by starting at the roots and make sure to stretch your hair out to the ends. Repeat until your hair is dry.

step 7

Take a section of your hair no wider than the diameter of your brush. Place your brush under and at the roots of your section. Then with your blow-dryer above, drag the brush up through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair following with your blow-dryer and pulling the hair to the left. Repeat until your hair is completely dry.

step 8

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. step 9

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

step 10

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
