“Straight Hairstyles”

Description

A casual short straight hairstyle is free-flowing, easy-going, and one that falls into place on its own. It's the kind of hairstyle you'd wear to almost any laid back occasion or outing. These hairstyles can vary from top-heavy one length looks, to sliced razor cuts, short layers, and extremely short crops.

Method

Casual short straight hairstyles are nice and quick to create- but that doesn't mean they look shabby. One of the greatest things about them is that they are almost self styling, requiring very little effort from home to reproduce. Some techniques you might like to try are simple things like ruffling and finger drying.

Benefit

These hairstyles are great for improving your hair’s condition since dead ends are cut off on a regular basis. They're also quick and easy to do, and for a small amount of effort you can look great with a hairstyle that  lasts all day long.

    • Ashleigh pulled off a great look at the Christopher Reeve First Amendment Award and the 2006 Spotlight Awards ceremonies with this casual, short flicked 'do. Her hair was graduated up through the back to longer lengths at her top, and soft flicks were added at the back to create lots of texture. Her top section was left smoother and styled to fall from her side part for a sassy finish. This is a great look for oval and longer face shapes and the texture through the ends is perfect for thick hair as it will thin the hair out.
