Katy Perry Medium Wavy Bob Hairstyle - Light Blonde
Katy Perry looks lovely here in a wavy shoulder length bob with layers throughout, styled with a teased look. The high volume styling of this ‘do is a great way to jazz up a bob and add extra volume. Katy has an oblong face shape so she can pull off a variety of looks and cuts. Here, she goes for a layered bob with grown out fringe that shows off her face and brings attention to her eyes. This ‘do gives her locks an overall trendy, fun look that can be worn for both day and night.
Katy has a fair complexion and green-blue eyes making her best suited to blonde and dark brunette tones of hair the best. Here she goes for a light platinum blonde shade that makes her complexion glow and eye color pop. Katy has kept her natural base color at the roots which gives her hair a nice depth, while vibrant blonde highlights have been added for style and dimension all over. Katy will need regular toning to keep her blonde looking fresh and not brassy.

1 . Apply Mousse
Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.
2 . Part to the Left
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.
3 . Scrunch Dry Hair with a Blow-dryer and Fingers
Use your hand to scrunch the hair as you blow-dry. Remember to keep the blow-dryer on a low speed and heat setting and to leave some moisture in your hair.
4 . Tease Hair
Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.
5 . Apply Hairspray
To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
