Eva Green Medium Wavy Black Bob Haircut

Added: 04 Jun 2018
This gorgeous hairstyle is left out to fall on the shoulders showing off the blunt cut ends and soft waves that gives this look plenty of movement and texture. Only a small amount of product is needed to tame fly-away hair and the shape of this style is perfect to complement a square face. Regular trims are needed to prevent split ends.

Eva Green looks simply gorgeous here in a soft, casual bob. This hairstyle works well with her naturally wavy hair texture, which can do its own thing with this ‘do. Eva’s hairstyle has layers cut in throughout to break up any excess heaviness and add some movement in the ends. To style, she created a deep center part in her hair and then styled her locks loose and wavy. This is the perfect ‘do for her oblong face shape because it adds width to balance out her vertical face shape and softness around her angles. Plus, it keeps the focus on her striking facial features.

Eva has always worn a shade of rich brunette in her hair, which is ideal for her blue eyes and porcelain complexion. She suits vibrant brunette and black shades that have a cool base to them the best. Here, she has opted for a rich jet black tone all over to create a striking contrast with her eyes, lips and complexion. This color combo looks gorgeous on Eva and gives her hair a glossy finish.

Eva Gaëlle Green is a French actress and model. She started her career in theatre before making her film debut in 2003 in Bernardo Bertolucci's film The Dreamers.

step 1

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.

step 2

A medium radial brush is used on medium to long hair types to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures or to add body to straight hair. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

step 3

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the nape/back. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends.

step 4

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the sides. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends. Repeat this step on a new section directly above the dry one.

step 5

To blow-dry the crown/top sections, take a section of hair no bigger than the diameter of the brush and blow-dry the hair placing the brush under the section of hair. With your blow-dryer in front of the brush, follow the brush in an upwards direction at the roots and an outwards position at the ends for volume and softness. Continue until the section is dry.

step 6

A large curling iron is used to create large soft curls and can be used to add body.

step 7

Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.

step 8

Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.

step 9

To get your sides to sit out, apply a small amount of wax to your fingertips and then working mainly on the ends, pinch them while dragging the hair in an out and upwards motion. Be careful not to overdo that wax or your result will be a flat and limp style.

step 10

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
