Christine Teigen Medium Wavy Dark Brunette Bob Haircut with Side Swept Bangs

Added: 23 Apr 2017
Layered ends and waves encourage movement and body in this chic shoulder length bob that is ideal for fine hair. This sassy 'do is perfect to compliment a round face and needs product to pinch through the ends for a textured look and feel.

Christine Teigen is sporting a cool wavy bob here that has a fabulous finish to it. This hairstyle looks great on her round face shape and is ideal for her high, rounded hairline. This ‘do gives Christine oodles of volume at the crown and has tons of texture throughout, which will serve her fine locks well. Ladies with a slightly wavy hair texture like hers will benefit from this hairstyle that makes the hair less bulky thanks to the layers throughout and encourages movement. Christine has gone with a side-swept fringe that camouflages her wide forehead and gives her 'do a sexy peek-a-boo effect.

Christine’s color is another stand out feature of this ‘do. Her dark brown base has been highlighted with streaks of soft golden blonde just at the tips, giving her locks a shiny and healthy sun-kissed finish. This subtle two-tone hair hue looks lovely with her tanned complexion and dark brown eyes, plus it gives her complexion a nice glow.

Christine "Chrissy" Teigen is an American model. She made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and, alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge, and appeared on the cover in 2014.

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 3

Using a blow-dryer on a low heat setting, use the palm of your hand in slow circular movements to dry off the hair and to create a disorganized effect.

step 4

Use your blow-dryer and your fingers to dry the back of your hair by moving your hair around to allow the heat to pass through it.

step 5

A large curling iron is used to create large soft curls and can be used to add body.

step 6

Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.

step 7

Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.

step 8

Apply wax to your fingertips then drag through your bangs, sweeping the hair to the right as you go. Pinching the ends will create soft texture.

step 9

To get your sides to sit out, apply a small amount of wax to your fingertips and then working mainly on the ends, pinch them while dragging the hair in an out and upwards motion. Be careful not to overdo that wax or your result will be a flat and limp style.

step 10

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
