Bonnie Kathleen Ryan Medium Wavy Dark Blonde Bob Haircut

Added: 29 Aug 2017
This shoulder length 'do is dressed in corkscrew curls all through the back and sides to give the over-all hairstyle plenty of bounce and movement. The shape of this 'do is perfect to compliment an oblong face and great for any occasion. Product is needed to tame fly-away hair and regular trims will help maintain a healthy look and feel.

Bonnie Kathleen Ryan looks lovely here in a shoulder length curly bob that is perfect for both day and night. Bonnie has a long, narrow face shape with a prominent jawline, so hairstyles with texture and wave work well to soften up her features. Bonnie’s fine locks are curled which gives her hair extra body and bounce while her center zigzag part highlights her eyebrows and high cheekbones. This ‘do is a simple but timeless hairstyle that is ideal for Bonnie's expressive facial features.

Bonnie has a cool ivory skin tone and blue-green eyes, which makes her best suited to brunette and caramel tones the best. Bonnie has experimented with various blonde and brown shades in the past, and has chosen a gorgeous combination of rich chestnut and caramel blonde tones here to create this look. This color combo gives her a sun-kissed look and brightens up her complexion nicely.

Bonnie Kathleen Ryan is an actress and director, known for Volcano Girl (2011), Eddie Puzynski (2011) and Open House (2010).

step 1

Using the corner of your comb, create a straight part and then place your comb at the hairline and drag it through your hair, crisscrossing from left to right as you go. When you reach your crown, lift the comb up and then split the hair to each side, pulling it down to reveal your zigzag part.

step 2

To blow-dry the crown/top sections, take a section of hair no bigger than the diameter of the brush and blow-dry the hair placing the brush under the section of hair. With your blow-dryer in front of the brush, follow the brush in an upwards direction at the roots and an outwards position at the ends for volume and softness. Continue until the section is dry.

step 3

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the nape/back. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends.

step 4

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the sides. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends. Repeat this step on a new section directly above the dry one.

step 5

A large curling iron is used to create large soft curls and can be used to add body.

step 6

Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.

step 7

Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.

step 8

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
