Miranda Lambert Medium Wavy Copper Blonde Hairstyle with Side Swept Bangs and Light Blonde Highlights

Added: 04 May 2015
The length of this style is blunt cut then dressed in loose waves to give the over-all style body and volume making this a fabulous 'do to complement a long face. The long bangs are swept to the side to soften the face and completes the over-all style brilliantly.

Miranda Lambert is flaunting a sexy vixen look here with her wavy blonde locks and cherry red lips! This hairstyle is ideal for Miranda, who has a combination of a square and heart shaped face. The jagged side-swept fringe minimizes the appearance of her broad forehead, while the volume created by her waves balances out her narrow chin area. The soft waves also work to blend out a wide jawline and add extra bounce and body.

Miranda’s color is just right for her warm, tanned complexion. The golden base and lighter wheat blonde highlights combine nicely to create an overall soft and natural looking light blonde tone, while her dark blonde base adds dimension throughout. Her blue eyes are intensified by this hair color as well. Overall, this is a glamorous look for Miranda that makes the most of her best features.

Miranda Lambert is an American country music singer, who is the current reigning Country Music Association vocalist of the year.

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

step 2

To blow-dry your bangs to the side, clip the back and side sections up, leaving just your bangs out. Place your brush beneath your bangs, holding your hair to the side and remembering to hold the tension between your hair and brush. With your blow-dryer on a low setting, apply heat by starting at the roots and make sure to stretch your hair out to the ends. Repeat until your hair is dry.

step 3

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

step 4

A large curling iron is used to create large soft curls and can be used to add body.

step 5

Take a small section of hair and place the ends at the base of your curling iron barrel and then wrap the hair up around the barrel until you reach your mid-lengths. Hold the hair for 5 to 10 seconds and then release the hair by unwinding the strands backwards.

step 6

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

step 7

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
