Ariana Madix Medium Straight Light Blonde Bob Haircut

Added: 11 Sep 2017
This edgy bob is blow-dried to smooth down the top while turning the ends slightly out for a pokey finish. The grown out bangs are worn down to frame the face and complete the overall look brilliantly. Regular trims are needed to maintain this hairstyle.

Ariana Madix looks beautiful here in a chic bob that falls just past the chin. This cut is ideal for showing off her strong facial features, especially her eyes and mouth. The grown out bangs provide her face with a nice frame while the rest of her hair maintains an edgy windblown shape that falls just past her jaw line. The layered ends give her locks a healthy appearance and gives her fine hair the illusion of being thicker. This ‘do has lots of movement to it and works with both casual and formal attire. Backcombing at the roots and throughout the lengths and ends gives her locks added volume and style.

Ariana looks fabulous here in golden blonde locks that flatter her skin tone and eye color nicely. Having dark green eyes and a warm skin tone, she looks best in yellow and golden blonde shades, as well as her natural dark blonde color. This particular color has a hint of wheat blonde to it that highlights her warm complexion and makes her eyes pop. Ladies with gold flecks in their blue or green eyes like hers will find that rich gold highlights make them pop even more. The roots have been left a bit darker for a more natural look.

Ariana Madix is an American TV personality who is known for her role on Vanderpump Rules.

step 1

Hold the gel spray no closer than 3 inches from your hair and then evenly mist the gel spray into the roots to create a stronger hold style. Gel spray will hold well and will not look wet or weigh the hair down. Using your gel spray in this fashion will create added hold and a longer lasting style.

step 2

Using a blow-dryer on a low heat setting, use the palm of your hand in slow circular movements to dry off the hair and to create a disorganized effect.

step 3

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 4

A medium radial brush is used on medium to long hair types to smooth out wavy or curly hair textures or to add body to straight hair. When selecting a radial brush, always use one with a pure bristle as this will not tear or damage the hair.

step 5

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the nape/back. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends.

step 6

Using your brush, blow-dry in small sections starting from the sides. Tilting your head forward, place the brush an inch below the roots to hold them taut and aim the dryer above the brush for a few seconds before continuing to the ends. Repeat this step on a new section directly above the dry one.

step 7

To blow-dry the crown/top sections, take a section of hair no bigger than the diameter of the brush and blow-dry the hair placing the brush under the section of hair. With your blow-dryer in front of the brush, follow the brush in an upwards direction at the roots and an outwards position at the ends for volume and softness. Continue until the section is dry.

step 8

To blow-dry your bangs you will need to take your brush and firstly make sure the section is no wider than the diameter of the brush. Next, place your brush on top of your head and under your section. Using your blow-dryer on a medium setting, blow-dry your hair from the roots, slowly working your way to the ends. Make sure to keep the blow-dryer in front of the brush at all times. Continue this step until the bangs are completely dry.

step 9

When straightening your hair, first make sure that your hair is completely dry. Then, section your hair off starting from the back/nape using a comb. Straighten your hair starting from the roots and working your way down to the ends using your comb as your guide. Make sure not to leave the straightening iron in one spot for more than 3 seconds. step 10

Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.

step 11

Apply a small amount of gel to your fingers, then starting at your roots, apply the gel as you drag your hair in an upwards, to the right, motion.

step 12

To get your sides to sit out, apply a small amount of gel to your fingertips and then working mainly on the ends, pinch them while dragging the hair in an out and upwards motion. The more gel and the more pinching that you apply, the more textured the result.
