Long Casual Mocha Brown Waves

Added: 03 Mar 2014
We added luscious dark mocha brunette hair color to our model's gorgeous brown hair. Her hair is long and wavy with some curls at the end and a side-swept bang on one side. The hairstyle frames her face perfectly, and it looks great with her eyebrows painted in a medium brown color that matches her hair, and with her oval-shaped eyes, high cheekbones, thick lips, and a wide forehead. Long layers are cut around the edges of these mocha brunette locks to enhance the bounce and movement of the natural waves. The side part and volume on the sides make this casual hairstyle perfect to balance out a long face. This long hairstyle goes straight across the head at the top and gradually curves towards the sides. The haircut falls on both sides of the face and frames it nicely. A few strands are left long lengthwise, just above the ears, to be pulled back towards the front to add movement and fullness.

It is a casual yet classy hairstyle that looks perfect on long hair. It suits women with oval, oblong, square, and diamond face shapes. If you have thick hair density and medium texture, this hairstyle will look great. You can maintain this hairstyle with regular trimming after 4 to 6 weeks and toning treatments to maintain your color into a Dark Mocha Brunette shade if you see your roots turning grey. Product will be needed for hold and shine.

step 1

Apply a small amount of hair moisturizer to the palm of your hand and distribute it evenly through the mid-lengths and the ends. Moisturizer will help your hair to maintain good condition and protect your strands from heat as you style.

step 2

Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your left eye and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even left part. A side part is great for longer face shapes because it creates the illusion of width.

step 3

Use your hand to scrunch the hair as you blow-dry. Remember to keep the blow-dryer on a low speed and heat setting and to leave some moisture in your hair.

step 4

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.
