Description

(Added: 25th September 2017 )
Voluminous waves are dressed throughout these brunette locks to give the overall style movement and bounce. This style is easy for ladies with wavy/curly hair to re-create at home with the right tools and needs product to tame fly-away hair. Regular trims are needed to prevent split ends and keep thick locks in check.

Demi Lovato looks lovely here in a sexy, striking, wavy hairstyle. Having an oblong face shape and high, rounded hairline, Demi's face looks best in ‘dos with a grown out fringe and longer layers around the face. This voluminous layered cut creates a nice frame around her cheekbones and allows her hair’s natural texture to do its thing, adding body and bounce all over. The longer layers soften up her jaw line area and gives her tresses some movement. A center part finishes this ‘do off nicely and works well with her high forehead, although a side-swept fringe or even a full-on fringe would be ideal for her.

Demi has a tanned complexion with golden undertones and dark brown eyes. This makes her suited to hair colors that have a brown or black base to them, like the rich espresso brown shade seen here. This dark tone is ideal for Demi's tanned complexion and it brings out the intensity of her dark brown eye color. It also completes her hair's sexy look and feel and suits Demi's popstar image.

Demi Lovato is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. After making her debut as a child actress in Barney & Friends, Lovato rose to prominence in 2008 when she starred in the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock and released her debut single "This Is Me" which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100.

Styling Steps

Moisturizer
1 . Apply Moisturizer
Apply a small amount of hair moisturizer to the palm of your hand and distribute it evenly through the mid-lengths and the ends. Moisturizer will help your hair to maintain good condition and protect your strands from heat as you style.
Partmiddle
2 . Part the Middle
Using the corner of your comb and standing in front of a mirror find the middle of your nose and then drag the comb straight up slowly until you reach your hairline and then continue back in a straight manner to achieve an even middle part. A middle part is a great way to make small, round face shapes appear longer and thinner.
Diffuseshortcurls
3 . Use a Blow-dryer and a Diffuser to Dry Curls
Using your diffuser, gently scrunch your hair dry in a rotating direction. Make sure the blow-dryer speed is on low and try not to completely dry the hair off as leaving a little bit of moisture will ensure that your curls do not frizz.
Tease
4 . Tease Hair
Pick up a small selection of hair from your mid section no bigger than your tail comb. Place your comb at the roots and then comb up and down until the hair is standing up by itself. Continue to the crown and finish at the sides. Repeat this step if you require more volume.
Sidesout
5 . Style Sides Out Using Moulding Cream
To get your sides to sit out, apply a small amount of moulding cream to your fingertips and then working mainly on the ends, pinch them while dragging the hair in an out and upwards motion. The more moulding cream and the more pinching that you apply, the more textured and pasty the result.
Backout
6 . Style the Back Out Using Moulding Cream
Using moulding cream and your fingers grab the mid-lengths of your hair and then drag it out and upwards for a full and messy result.
