Becca Tilley Long Wavy Dark Blonde Hairstyle

Added: 11 Jan 2016
Layers are sliced through the sides and back of these blonde tresses making it easy to style with loose waves dressed through the mid-lengths to ends. This low-fuss hairstyle is perfect to frame a long face and is easy to maintain with regular trims every 4-6 weeks.

Becca Tilley goes for the California girl look here with long blonde beachy waves. This hairstyle is perfect for her thick hair type and it goes well with her oval face shape too. Becca’s locks have been layered throughout the ends to give her tresses some movement and body, and also to remove some of the bulk of her thick locks. The subtle waves bring the focus to her face while softening up her jaw line. Having an oval face, Becca can flaunt a center part with ease, but here she goes for an off-center part with excellent results.

As for her color, Becca’s dirty blonde is working well for her here and it completes her beachy look. Her naturally dark blonde locks have been lightened to a sun-kissed medium blonde tone that gives her hair extra depth and dimension. This highlighted look goes great with her tanned complexion and blue eyes.

Becca Tilley is an American reality television personality who has appeared on The Bachelor.

step 1

Apply styling mousse to damp hair, using your palm as a measuring guide, and evenly distribute it along the hair shaft. Styling mousse will add hold and can help achieve better results.

step 2

Using your blow-dryer, dry your hair using your fingers, separating the hair and allowing it to dry at the roots first then the mid lengths and then the ends. Making sure the roots are dry first will ensure that your hairstyle does not fall flat.

step 3

Take a section of hair no wider than the diameter of the velcro roller and comb it through to ensure there are no knots. Place the roller at the ends of the section of hair, being sure to smooth the ends under, and then twist the roller down the hair shaft to the roots. Continue applying the velcro rollers all the way through the entire hair for a full volume finish throughout the sides. Keep the rollers in your hair for approximately 20 minutes.

step 4

Apply a very small amount of smoothing shine to the palms of your hands and then run it through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Be careful not to add any to the roots or a large amount to any section of the hair as smoothing shine can be very heavy on the hair, weighing it down and making it appear oily.

step 5

To finish, apply a minimal amount of hairspray from an arms length distance to the top, sides and back. Take care not to use too much or you will end up with a white, flaky residue which looks like dandruff.
