In 1990, Nicky Oliver opened the doors to his first salon in Manchester's, Piccadilly. Nicky worked hard to strive to the top and in 2004 he decided that to keep up with the high demand he would open a second salon for the convenience of his clients in Oldham. After years of hard work and determination, it is safe to say that Nicky and his team have built one of Manchester's leading salons.

Nicky represents ambition and determination, which has driven him to success through his career. He believes strongly in motivating and encouraging his team, realizing that success within the salon is a direct result of quality training and management.

Do you have a title for this collection?
Nocturnal.

General collection description - what was your inspiration and vision for the collection (hair, fashion, make up and photography)?
I wanted to make a collection that was clean cut and classic. I was inspired hugely by 1950's favorites, and I feel this is shown through the classic, clean cut. A classic look is and will always be in style. I feel that I took a classic style and gave it a new modern edge.

	Haircut: The hair was cut into an inverted bob past the shoulders with some soft layers. Coloring: Bleach slices lifted to a medium blonde were applied 4.6 and then a chocolate brown was added throughout the hair. This will give softer tones rather than a block color. Styling: The hair was blow-dried with a large bristle brush and the hair was then tucked and fastened with grips to make it look like a short bob. Products used for coloring: Schwarzkopf Igora Royale.
	Haircut: The hair was cut into an inverted bob past the shoulders with some soft layers. Coloring: Bleach slices lifted to a medium blonde were applied 4.6 and then a chocolate brown colour was put throughout the hair to give softer tones rather than a block color. Styling: The hair was blow-dried smooth and shiny and was then styled using a large pair of ceramic curling tongs from the mid-lengths to the ends of the hair. Products used for coloring: Schwarzkopf Igora Royale
	Haircut: The hair was cut into a one length cut. Coloring: A medium chocolate brown and a dark chocolate brown color was added. Styling: The hair was blow-dried straight with a large bristle brush and a small pair of ceramic irons was used to curl the hair from the mid-lengths to the ends of the hair. Products used for colouring: Schwarzkopf Igora Royale.
	Haircut: The hair was cut into a one length cut. Coloring: A medium chocolate brown and dark chocolate brown color was added. Styling: The hair was blow-dried straight with a large bristle brush and one side was then pinned up into a short bob. The rest of the hair was swept around into a neat chignon bun at the back. Products used for coloring: Schwarzkopf Igora Royale
