Whether it's an after work party or a weekend jam packed with a day and night of socializing, we have two looks that will take your long hair from an easy day look to a glamorous night look with only a few simple hairstyling changes!

Day Look: Long Straight Hairstyle

Long straight hairstyleNothing says polished and professional like shiny, healthy looking straight locks, and this long straight hairstyle is a great option if you're spending your day at the office, or for a casual get together with friends before a night out.

To re-create this great straight hairstyle with your blow-dryer:

  1. Start with clean hair and a left hair part.
  2. Apply some hair straightening balm to the lengths of your locks to speed up styling time and to help minimize any hair damage.
  3. Use a large radial brush to blow-dry your hair straight.
  4. Finish with smoothing shine and hairspray.

Night Look: Long Curly Hairstyle

long curly hairstyleTo glam up your long hair for a night look, adding some big curls to your mid-lengths (as shown with this long curly hairstyle) is a great choice. Hot hair rollers have been used to create this look (which frees you up to go about your day while your hair styles itself!), or you can use a curling iron if you prefer.

To achieve this look with hot hair rollers:

  1. Run a comb through your straight locks to detangle your strands.
  2. Apply large hot rollers through the back sections of your hair and then close to your part through the front until all of your hair has been wound into the rollers. Allow the rollers to cool for as long as possible.
  3. Remove the rollers and then tease the roots of your hair to achieve hair volume and height through the crown.
  4. Define your curls and set them into place with some hair wax.
  5. Apply some smoothing shine and hairspray to finish.

So there you have it! Two great looks for long hair which you can wear during the day and at night.
