Different to the usual red carpet polished looks, this hairdo’ is eye-catching and edgy. To get this look, you must have medium to long hair that is preferably thick. If you have fine hair, it is possible to get this look but it will take a lot of teasing and a lot of hair styling products! Adding a hairpiece can also help out if you lack the thickness needed for this style.
Start by taking thin panels of hair, starting from the nape of the neck and working your way up to the front and sides, and backcombing the roots and lengths. Add hairspray to your teased roots as you go along. Once you are done (and probably resembling someone who had an electric shock), it’s time to start moulding the hair into position.
Comb the hair towards the back of the head and start to twist it into a French roll, starting from the nape of the neck, pinning it as you go along. Once you have reached the top of the head, allow the hair on top to be swept over and pinned very loosely in place. You can choose the amount of height you want by how tight you twist and pin your hair. Jaslene has left hers very loose for maximum height.
To top it all off, add a golden headband and matching earrings for that Grecian goddess touch!
